The work on the orphanage continues to go well. They are almost finished putting up the fence, the gate has been added, a cross road has been cut, and foundations for three of the houses have been dug. God continues to shower blessings on this project - and I mean that in a literal sense! This is the dry season and rain is NEVER expected. But, we have had a couple of hard rains that have softened the ground and made digging easier.
Also, I really appreciate your prayers concerning the director's position and God is busy answering. I have had one interview and will have another tomorrow. Two more will be interviewed on the 28th. I know the person coming tomorrow and am really glad he has applied. I am interested to meet the other two as they come highly recommended by someone I respect. WOW! Decisions will soon have to be made so keep those prayers coming! Don't forget to pray for the right staff - house mothers, guards, cooks, compound manager.
Another interesting note: The contractor, Santino, is building the roads at no charge. It is his tithe to God for getting the contract. He has built a couple of our churches and always tithes back to the church.
