It's been a busy few weeks trying to get our scholarship students back in school, so I haven't been able to get to the orphanage site to take pictures. But, the work goes on!
All foundations have now been dug. Img-9780 shows the dining hall and kitchen foundation. They have started laying bricks in the foundation of the houses. Then they will lay the bricks in the foundation of the dining hall. Santino wants to have every building at the same point in construction so that everything will be completed at the same time. In these pictures, I had to include "lunch time". A lady is at the site and cooks beans and posho over an open fire. It is very welcome after the hard work they put in.
I have received several CVs for the director's position and will do more interviewing next week. I hope to have someone in place very soon to start working on job descriptions and Child Protection Policy. Please continue to keep the hiring process in your prayers.
